Social Media Marketing Requires the “Sociable” Plug-In

Hey everyone,

Sorry it’s been awhile. I’ve been doing a lot of BLOG Maintenance, Overhauling and Monetizing this week on www.cheapclix.net, www.homesquadcities.net, www.healthypractices.net and www.mlm-im.com which are Blogs I maintain for my Business Partners.

Before the weekend comes around, I wanted to turn all of you on to a new Plug-In that I found from www.wordpress.org, called “Sociable”. You can download it from here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/sociable/

If you, like most of us believe that “Social Media Marketing” is the wave of the future, please read on. If not…where have you been hiding? :)

First understand that you have to embrace the “Social Media Marketing” concept first as a “Social Media” and then apply your marketing concepts to it AFTER establishing a following or you’ll appear to look like just another “On-Line Marketing Junkie.” Social Media sites are a place to “socialize”. Think of it as a party you’re attending. You wouldn’t go up to someone that you didn’t know and start off WITHOUT an introduction and spew your marketing program. That would be “Socially Unacceptable” wouldn’t it. Even so, there are many people who will do this in person, let alone do it inappropriately on a Social Media site like Twitter www.twitter.com, FaceBook www.facebook.com, LinkedIn www.linkedin.com and My Space www.myspace.com.

So after you understand that you first gain an audience who is interested in cheap cheap viagra what you have to say, and then you “Gently” say it. I.e.,..”I’ve been working on my Blog Coaching program. Do you know anyone that would be interested in learning how to BLOG?” It’s that simple, and VERY comfortable for you and your listener.

So, what is the “Sociable” PlugIn all about? Well, here are some details:

1. It’s a FREE PlugIn from www.wordpress.org.

2. It allows you the ability to list 99 “Social Media” (Don’t try to list all of them. It would be obtuse!) website icons at the bottom of your post “Automatically” and to EVERY Post.

3. When a reader has read a post that they find of interest, they have the ability to click on an icon like “Twitter”, “FaceBook”, “Google”, “My Space” which redirects them automatically to that Social Media Home Page.

4. Then…IF THEY ARE A MEMBER of that Social Media Site, they can bookmark your post and comments on to that Social Media sites web page, as well as write a description and referral for everyone on that Social Media site to reference through that sites OWN Search Engine. Awesome!!!

Now the fun part…you don’t have to wait for someone else to Book Mark your post or comments. After you have written your post, and have published it, close your wp-admin area and go to the post URL. Then just go to the bottom of that page and click on whatever icons you wish to Book Mark your post on as well as write comments. I typically only Book Mark on the Major Social Media sites because of time constraints. And, I only list 9 icons as more than that is like having “Too many options”. In a way, it drives new users to the sites WE WANT to participate and market on. Clever???

Note: You have to sign up as a member to the sites you want to Book Mark on, but that’s only a one time issue. Actually, Google is the easiest to Book Mark on. And if you’re using “Twitter Tools” you don’t need to Book Mark there as your posts are already being “Tweeted” to your followers. Now you understand why you want and NEED more “Twitter Followers”? More on that in a later post.

I hope you enjoyed this post and ask that you give me your comments/ feedback as to what you would like to see more of on www.internetdollars.net Remember, I do this site for everyone to hopefully learn together.

Success in your journey,

Todd
