All of them! Even BusinessWeek agrees! It doesn’t matter what type of business it is. You can be in a construction business (my husband is a general contractor) and it can even benefit that business. And here’s why:

1. The first and I believe, foremost reason to have a blog in your business is because Google loves fresh content! The more often you put new content on you website, the more likely Google will like you, in turn find you. My next project is to have a blog connected to my husband’s company (CreativeCarpentryMN.com). He will need to do the writing because the last thing I want to do is write about construction. I also am currently adding a blog portion to my FashionTidBits.com website. This is a website I have had for over a year, but I have to fight to get traffic there. Why? I am not updating it enough, so adding a blog will help me do that. Understand what I am saying?
